... or should I say: Welcome to a new experience of "boring"?
Let me sum it up in short:
Microsoft:
The only thing I remember from their square was this big, fat, evil looking guy who was looking everyone who dared to come close enough over and over and over. So, we did not go there.. and there wasn't anything of interest... only Halo (and you know how much I love Shooter) and the MS-Singstar-Clone Lips and... another clone of GT5 or such... oh, and Windows! Yeah! One can never have enough Windows!!
Nintendo:
Yeah, the usual Wii-Stuff, which I am not interested in, so we skipped it. But it was a nice square with smiling people.
Sony:
Wuuh, BIG! And really colourful and yeah, quite a few things to play and explore there. It was a bit weird to see the English version of Shiro Kishi Monogatari.. the 18plus-area was <333 So many good games to come!
Capcom:
Epic-Fail-Lol... nuff said!
Konami:
eh.. if only i would be interested in Sport-Games... I would have loved it there!
Square-Enix:
No Lol, no Rofl.. just sad! Oh, so sad! Final Fantasy 14 (FOURTEEN) all over the place. NO trailer, NO mention of FF13 or FF13 Versus... but seeing how busy they were there, people actually believe in them. Honestly, Square might as well be dead already.... I'm off to play really interesting games.. even better looking then your stupid Versus.
Die Bundesagentur für Arbeit:
I never ever laughed so much! I thought it was the best place... only it should have been closer to the WoW-terminals, BUT there was more to come:
Bundeswehr!
THE Epic Fail of the Year! Two dressed up clowns entertaining the masses with footballs (I bet they stole it from little children in Afghanistan) and two policemen trespassing in their ugly green-brown uniform, admitting that they should finally insist in getting those sexy dark-blue-uniforms!
But more to come for the USK (the German censor agency, the "Kommst-hier-ned-rein"-Doorman for any game, wanting to be published in Germany) also had a small square... next to the Piraten-Partei! buwahahahahahahaahahahahahahaha....

Hardware:
PSP-Go is just uncomfortable, after holding it for a few seconds my left thumb went into shutdown. And don't get me started on the silly to ugly look of the new PS3...

And now, most important, ~Games~
I only played a few Demos, waiting times were TOO long... really, I do love games, but I'm not that nerdy to wait two hours to play a demo of a half-finished game...
First off: Uncharted 2: Would Mr. Drake please come here and marry me? Thank you! It always was my dream to marry someone by the name of ~~Ernest~~ Nathan! <3
Heavy Rain: Yeah, go and hype it.. i'll stick with CSI: Miami. Stupid game with no action and rainy weather, BUT sunglasses and THE ugly hero of the year...
Silent Hill Shattered Memories: I'm so never ever to get a Wii... really, half of the time we were laughing, the other half we were cursing and occasionly we wanted to throw this stupid two parted controll-thing into the bloody monitor... we hardly saw anything of the game, so thanks for nothing.
Assassin's Creed II: Demo? What Demo? Hey, we are Ubisoft! We're so cool that we make this special presentation room, where we show this bloody trailer, which is everywhere over the internet already, and we will only show it at selected times, BUT people love us so much that they stand there and wait for hours to get into our little dark chamber... and those people are the same, who will go and buy FF 14. But anyway: This game will be brilliant and I will get it and play it 65184684013 times.

All in all.. I was disappointed, will never go there again, BUT had a great time with my Mum and

hans0r who came all the way to Cologne on this crazy, spontaneous trip to GamesCom 09. We did have fun, laughed alot and endured the most horrible food together. Now I'm truly brave and strong enough for a trip to the jungle or the Sahara... Mr. Drake, you can pick me up anytime! :)

c) können Sie sich dem Böller wieder nähern und ihn eventuell per Hand löschen!
d) sollten Sie die Baterien ihrer Ficklamp wechseln!

Was bin ich also?
a) ein unglaublich heißer Liebhaber mit einer riesigen Kollektion an Anzügen, die ich im Minutentakt wechsel
b) eine schnöde Packung Popcorn
c) ein buntes Feuerwerk zu Sylvester
d) eine Taschenlampe in Disneyoptik

Für die richtige Lösung gibt es einen Keks und einen schmachtenden Seitenblick alá Yuuhi!
(Der Publikumsjoker muss leider ausfallen, weil besagtes Publikum nach drei schmachtenden Seitenblicken hintereinander leider nicht mehr in der Lage ist sich zu artikulieren... rufen Sie gerne jemanden an, achten Sie aber unbedingt darauf, dabei nicht von ihrem Ehemann erwischt zu werden. Das Personal ist es leid den Mercedes ständig wieder aus dem Wohnzimmer schieben zu müssen!)

Also full of great.. Last Play-Poster, definatly one of the things you want to see, when you wake up at 6am. First I was sceptical due to the Preview-pic which could have earned THE Boring-Award for this year. But the Poster itself turned out to be facinating. This will become a good show!

And even more awesome: I am finally able to enjoy my fandom again! :D Sorry to all for my gloomy mood the last weeks... months.. :x

With a little help of my brother who made the dress purple (my favourite colour! ^^), I now have the world greatest Faery as my LJ-Background. Now, the whole Journal is not as purple as before, but I really like it. Besides, I haven't been playing Folk's Soul for months so it was time for a change :)

Two decisions I don't agree with: Sonoka= Kurotenshi... if she gets her own special kurotenshi-angle on the DVD >_<

Retirements are really... i was half panicking here! I'm not happy about Kaeko, but it's ok, nothing which knocked me out.
So, I'm back to living again! yeah! Off to write my report about nikkeijin.. doh!
